Welcome to our ABOUT PAGES (partly updated July 2005. Some NEWS at this time is that we are buying a (very) rustic property in Aracena, Andalucia (2 hrs drive) where we hope to offer recreational courses in the future and may be able to offer this to let later this year or next). Although we will be delighted to hear from you should you wish to rent our apartment, we hope this site will also be of interest to anyone visiting this part of Portugal. Here's more about Trevor. Cabanas is a small holiday-resort and fishing village some 5 miles (8 km, by road) to the east of Tavira which in turn is about 20 miles (30 km) east of Faro. The airport at Faro can be reached in 45 minutes and Spain is 20 minutes by road or about an hour by bus and ferry. It is also possible to drive to Seville (140 km) in about an hour and a half on the motorway. This site contains many internal and external links in-line and we do our best to update it and remedy any errors reported. Please let us know if you experience any difficulties with the site or find any broken links. Images are kept to a minimum and we hope the site will respond rapidly whatever systems and software you are using. | |
